Living in Tallahassee makes me feel like living in the mountains up North. Not that I've ever lived in the mountains, but I have visited family a few times that did. The one thing you see a lot of is tree roots. I love the way they look like there all hanging on to each other trying hard to find a place to grab onto the ground. Not sure why, but something about roots and vines amaze me. They always seem to find a way to survive every obstacle handed to them. I like to think that's a pretty good motto for life.
