Warning: This is going to be a long one .. and I'm even going to extend it to the next few days because I didn't feel like it would make sense all bunched together. So there's your warning. Proceed with caution. Today we're heading to the zoo.
While visiting in Alabama, we went to this place that was like a "backyard" zoo. The girls loved it and I'm pretty sure I took about 5000 pictures. I picked some of my favorites and then narrowed them down to my absolute favorites. I did that until I ended up with these. Here's a sample of our day at the zoo.
This was the friendliest camel I have ever met. Correction, I haven't yet met a camel that wasn't friendly. Although to date, I've only met enough to count on one hand. So I guess by default, he is the friendliest. And he loved to be fed. I have a few cute pictures of daddy holding Ryen up to feed him. { Or her }
Posing for the camera. Got that pouty lip thing going.
Caidyn liked the goats, so I had to add a few. They were tiny, stinky and looked like they needed a serious bath.
Luke feeding the buffalo. Not sure why this made my top pics, but I'd love to give him a good brushing. { the buffalo .. not Luke }
These lemurs were adorable. They love the attention. And I think there was a little love connection between Luke and this "girl". After she held his hand, she put hers in her mouth and licked it. Since she probably does that with all the guys, I decided Luke needed sanitize his whole arm.
Eww. Lemur slobber.
I'm a little obsessed with tortoises. I love the design of the shell, I love the way they wobble around .. I just love them. So here's a few more pictures of tortoises.

This guy had a fly on his back.
Okay, that's the end of the tortoises!
Hehe.
I had to add these donkeys. The way the picture came out was just funny to me.

This is the tigers angry face .. and that is his smily face. I personally think they are both scary.
This guy was gorgeous. I love white tigers.

I secretly wish I could give him a big tiger hug. But I really like my limbs. And I'm sure he probably would too.
We also saw monkeys, wolves, bears, ligers, kangaroos, alligators ... and much, much more. It was a great day at the zoo! Thanks to the Nalezynski family for taking us!!
