Here's part 2 of my Alabama mini series. Sightseeing in Ozark and Brundidge.
Until now, I had never been to Alabama before { well, that I know of } so I was unaware of the crazy amount of peanut stuff I would see there. Apparently they have peanut festivals, peanut stands and peanut statues all over the place. They even had peanuts dressed up like all the branches of the military. Is there something I'm missing about Bama and nuts?
This one is for Lynn. My mother in law. She's obviously been hiding something from us. And today I found it.
They had a lot of old time looking gas stations and shops. It's like the whole town traveled back to the 60's.
You can't road trip and not take a picture of a giant shiny rooster made out of pots on the side of the road. You just can't. I dare you.
Thanks to the great city of Brundidge, Alabama. You rock!
